Easy to Use June 28, 2010 K. Shepard (Dallas, TX United States) I enjoy using the Diaper Dekor system -- it's so easy to refill and simple to use. Yes, these bags are "biodegradable" but most diapers aren't. But at least you're throwing something biodegradable into the landfill, instead of a regular plastic bag! One less plastic bag could help...
A note to those who throw away poopy diapers in the diaper pail -- DON'T! I remember reading this advice when my son was a newborn, and he's 1 and 1/2 now... we've never thrown a poopy diaper in the diaper pail, and his room has NEVER smelled. We always wrap the poopy ones in a plastic shopping bag (I know, not biodegradable) and throw out with the regular trash. We can keep the diaper pail smell-free for a couple of weeks this way.
Good luck!

Not the biodegradable ones December 31, 2009 Jeannette F. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using the Diaper Dekor for years and like it. Two things to note about this refill: 1) It fits the PLUS size, so don't order it if you have the smaller size. 2) This is not the biodegradable version. I'm not sure if that's a big deal since you're filling it with non-biodegradable diapers, but just don't get confused if you have a preference.
Great on capacity, ok on smell. November 9, 2009 Liz (Columbia, MD) We have used the Dekor for over six years with a few year break before now and originally loved it. There is more of a noticable odor than the original bags. Next time we need bags we are going buy through the company to get the old ones. The garbage system is great!
No odor problem for us November 6, 2009 i heart photography We've used the diaper dekor for 6 months now without odor problems. I could see an odor issue developing if I let the dirty diapers simmer in the pail for a week, but that would be my fault.
Also, I don't understand why folks question the benefit of a biodegradable bag. Even if you aren't using a biodegradable or semi-degradable diaper, think of how many bags we are sending to the landfill.
Change is not welcome October 12, 2009 rwcmick As others have pointed out, why the changes? The new bags cost more, block less smell and what good is a bio degradable bag if the diapers aren't? This appears to be a cost increase and a feature decrease. Boo! Hiss! I still give it three stars, begrudgingly, because it does still "work." What a shame that a five star product has fallen in the ranks.
