Do you just lay your baby down on your carpet and change their diaper?
Or do you take them into their Nursery and use the changing table?

It’s usually on the couch. We’re downstairs most of the day and his room(and changing table) are upstairs.
i dont use a changing table. I never have. It is a waste of money. I change my babies on the floor. Lay a blanket down or a plastic mat and change them. its alot easier as well
I don’t have a change table, so DS gets changed where ever I catch him.
I never use our change table, at this stage i use her change mat on a table or floor. When she starts to move though I’m just going to use the floor.
couch, livingroom floor, why does it matter?
I change my daughter in her crib. I don’t have the room or the money for a changing table.
I had a changing table in my room and my babies room (I recently removed the one from my room, it was attached to the playpen) which was very convenient for me since my room is next to the living room and my son’s room is next to the kitchen (complete opposites of our 1600 condo!). So I always had a table to change him on and all the products near and the diaper genie right there too! That is what worked best for me!
The one thing I do admit wasting money on is a change table.
I just plop him down on the floor, on his little change mat and change him there. We have a little supply of nappy changing goods in the lounge area anyway.
Who can be bothered taking those extra steps to the nursery when they don’t have to? Lol.
Maybe that’s just me being lazy!
Besides, at least on the floor I don;t have to worry about him rolling off, strap or not, I’m still paranoid!
I always used the changing table because my back was sore, and I found it hurt less when I didn’t have to bend over.
I always change her on her changing table in her room. She would never lay still on the floor or couch..she would squirm away for sure!!! I have to strap her down and put her in a straight jacket to change her! Okay minus the straight jacket but for sure a strap!
I had a changing table, a makeshift one, and i never used it I always used the floor so I got rid of it. The floor is just more convenient.
Now that we closed up the Pack N Play that used to be downstairs (she is too heavy for the changing table part of it and she sleeps fine in her crib) I always go upstairs to where her dresser/changing table is. My husband will sometimes just grab the diaper bag and do it on the living room floor.
I change on the couch. It’s normally the most handy thing around. If there’s someone on it the floor works too. I used the change table when my kids were really little because it was at a comfortable height, but now it’s where ever I can catch the little one.
Wherever we are normally…. unless it is poopie then then diaper geni is by the changing table so we use it then…
My changing table was pretty much a wast of money, they should just re-name them to diaper, wipes and other junk shelves! I pretty much change my son where ever were at, if were in the living room then I change him on the couch, in the bedroom I change him on the bed… I just always lay a towel down just incase he has a mess.
At the moment we are using the dining room table with a changing pad on it but typically with my oldest we did it anywhere we were. The floor, couch, whatever.
Carpet, couch, our bed….I think I used that stupid changing table TWICE! LOL good thing it’s a dresser too!
We have a playpen with a changing table and we have used that since she was born. She sleeps upstairs and we change her when we bring her down to feed her on the morning. When she was still waking during the nights we changed her on the bed upstairs.
My husband and I were actually discussing the other day that the playpen was the very best thing that we purchased for the baby.
my babies are now 13 and 14,and i changed them wherever it was convenient for them.if it was the floor,my bed, sofa, crib.it did’nt matter as long as they had a clean bottom.as soon as they went even as toddlers ,they were changed and never once did they get a diaper rash.
Usually his crib. that has been our “change table” since he was a baby. I cant do it on the floor out here because we have a dog who thinks that if baby is lying on the floor (not his mat etc) then he is free to be licked, gross to us, but my son loves it!! lol…
Well i change babies on a changie table but if i am at some one house i would put a blanket on the floor to chage the baby. But it really doesnt matter as long as you chage the baby. Congrats on your baby!!
I change my son on the floor or the couch (the couch can be tricky, because he is active and I dont want him flipping off)…I never had a changing table, it never really fit into the budget and I couldn’t see the logic in having one… Although I’d probably be more fit if I had to run upstairs whenever my son needed to be changed, lol!
changing table when he was little (the one that went in the play yard thing)
now we change him on the floor, on the couch, bed… where ever is convenient at the time.
I don’t change the baby on the floor, since we have a dog who has in the past stolen dirty diapers to chew up all over the floor. I think I used the changing table with my first child for about four months, and never with my second child. We generally use our bed.
I always use the changing table. I find it easier than to grab all the stuff I need. I just grab the baby and take her into her room.
To each their own! Good Luck!
Changing table.
lay blanket down on the floor and change them in the floor they will be okay
Whatever is most convienent actually. I usually change it on the floor though.
i change my daughters diaper on the floor or couch. i have a changing table and its great for organizing stuff like diapers and wipes but changing her it does not work! haha..it was given to me from my sister in law so i didnt buy one but i have never changed her diaper on it in the 2 months shes been in the world. and the floor and couch are so much more convenient.
I always use the changing table, unless I’m not at my house. I changed her diapers a few times before, either on the couch or my bed but she never failed to pee at that particular time. Always right after I take out her diaper. Even laying a new diaper under her old one when changing didn’t work. At the changing table, it’s okay if she pees all over the place because it’s easy wipe off.
I dont own a changing table.I usually change him on my knee or the nearest couch.Rarely the floor.
Always in the living room on the floor.
We’ve only usd the changing table in his nursery a few times. I’d say 95% of the diaper changes are on the floor in our living room.
At home, I usually use my bed, and once in a while the floor of the room we’re in. (Twisting to use a changing table would hurt my back.) If we’re out running errands, I either use the stroller or the inside the car.
Always use the changing table, in the nursery. We use cloth so we cant throw them away anywhere.
Hi i always change her on her change table it’s on the main floor. My back hurts to badly if i change her on the floor. But if my change table weren’t on the main floor i’d do it on the couch to.
I just do there crib incase they go pee pee
Our daughter runs after she goes potty so it’s wherever we catch her
