How do you change a diaper?
Like I’m scared I’ll do it wrong and stuff!
Can I have step by step instructions please? What and where do you wipe with the baby wipes? Is it ok if it gets on his penis? (the wipe)
I’ve heard they’ll pee on you! How do I prevent this!
Just please be detailed and as specific as possible!

I just change the diaper for a pee and don’t use wipes or I’ll get a shower! I wipe his bottom and everyewhere there is poop when he does poo and put on a clean daiper. Don’t worry, it’s EASY!
If your that scared to do a simple task then you shouldnt be babysitting at all.
take the diaper off,put a fresh one under him,& then wipe him back to front,making sure you get all of his creases.use powder or diaper rash cream if needed.if you don’t think you can move fast enough to where he won’t pee on you put a wipe over his penis.tape the new diaper on,and now i have just completed my diaper lesson!
pee: wipe everywhere that would have had contact with the pee. I would wipe inside his butt as well, ’cause it gets in there. Wipe his penis area with the wipee, yes wipe there, it will not hurt him. You want him to be clean. If he is circumcised, just wipe the whole thing like normal. If he is not circumcised (and you will know it, ’cause you will see what I’m about to tell you) do not lift the flap of skin at the end of his penis to clean inside, because you can cause an infection.
poop: do the same thing for pee, but you’ll probably use a lot more wipes.
Make sure you do it all on a mat, and try to be quick about it… cover his penis with something while you’re doing it, or right after you’re done with the old diaper with a new diaper, ’cause you don’t wanna get peed on. They shoot out on ya!

Lay the child down on his/her back.
Have wipes out on the floor next to you, (not near the baby, he/she willgrab them..lol)
have a clean diaper also…of course
unlatch the diaper straps, dont take the diaper away yet..
Hold feet together with one hand, an raise the legs up high
yes you can wipe the penis, make SURE there is no Poop or Pee left on the baby, or he’she can get a rash.
Once all wiped up, put the dirty wipes, in the dirty diaper, fold up throw away,
Get new diaper, open up completely, put back part of the diaper on the ground,
Place the baby’s bottom on the diaper, get other side of diaper fold over and latch the straps.

Two days ago, you’re babysitting a 3 years old boy and now you’re going to babysitting a baby boy? no offense but if you don’t know how to changed diaper then you shouldn’t be babysitting at all.
You lay the baby on his back, undo his diaper. fold it under his bottom in case he decides to start peeing or pooping during the change.
Put a wipe over his penis to prevent him from peeing on you.
You don’t have to wipe his penis.
But if he poops, Simply clean all the poo off with wipes.
Get the clean diaper and before you latch the straps, place his penis facing down!
If it’s up after you latch his diaper he’ll pee everywhere outside his diaper.
Put all the dirty wipes in the dirty diaper and throw it away.
quickly! get all your supplies ready and on hand. open the diaper (the new one) and place it under the baby (still wearing old diaper). open his old diaper, wipe his front (penis and scrotum, underneath, all creases between thighs) then lift him up, wipe his bottom and remove dirty diaper. fold up the new diaper and fasten. if you pay attention he won’t get you with his pee. usually his little wee gets erect and that hole (urethra) will open up before you get hosed. i have a 5 month old and he still gets me from time to time. i just throw a cloth on him til he’s done. your best bet might be to ask the baby’s parent how they prefer you change him though.
Before you take off the old diaper, put a new one under him. Undo the one he’s wearing but shield his spouter with it just in case he lets go. Grab onto his ankles and lift up gently, wiping his spouter first and then his bottom. Keeping his bottom lifted up, slide the old diaper out and then apply whatever the parents prefer — powder, vaseline, etc. and then put the new diaper on. Even experienced parents get peed on every now and then. Happened to me several times. Don’t worry. It’ll all work out.
1) Have all supplies handy- wipes, a dry towel for drying if baby is prone to rash, new diaper unfolded and ready to go. Be prepared that baby boys can pee and spray you. Holding a spare diaper over his penis will catch it, if that’s possible.
2) If the diaper is poopy, Lift up legs of baby and wipe baby clean. Wipe down, not up. You want to try and avoid getting any poop on the penis because it can cause infection if poop gets in the peehole. Clean the area. Check the back, the legs, in between the legs, under the scrotum and such…Poop can get in everywhere so try to clean it off. I also find it helpful to give baby something to hold if he/she is older so they don’t reach down there and get their hands and legs all poopy. If its just a wet diaper I usually don’t wipe, but you can if you want. After all poop/pee is gone I like to dry off the baby with a towel or rag so baby is nice and dry, but that’s optional.
3) Put dirty wipes in the diaper as I go, and then wrap it up and throw it away. If the diaper was only wet, I usually remove it right away before wiping/drying and put the new one under right away. If its poopy I use my best judgment on whether or not to put the clean one underneath baby right away.
4) Put clean diaper on. Make sure the little elastic bands around the legs aren’t folded up and are out so pee doesnt leak out.

Invest in some latex gloves. We used them at a daycare I worked at and I loved them. Keeps a safe barrier.
First, get everything ready….diapers…wipes…but cream..or powder…and of course a diap
Second. Grab baby.undress his lower portion so you can easily get to his diaper.
Then place new diap under old…slowly open babies diaper….throw a wipe over his winky for safety
Thinrd: wipe from ball area down past through the but crack, discard the wipe.
Fourth: Then with a new wipe clean winky and make sure you get under it real well so nothing is left behind.
Fifth: Then put the dirty diaper in you palm of your gloved hand pull the glove with the right hand over the diaper and discard. With you right hand get the lotion and place it wherever it is needed.
Then you are good, dress the little booger:)

Aww, you’ll do fine hun! I am a mother to a 4 month old. Put a cloth on his penis so he doesnt pee all over the place, and yes you can wipe the penis. Get the diaper and wipes ready. Undress him and take of his old diaper. Take out a wipe and wipe his little pee pee. Then MAKE SURE YOU PUT HIS PENIS down because if not he will pee up his back within a hour or so. Then just put the diaper on(it’s easier to put his penis down when you have the diaper on halfway). You cant really do anything wrong. Good luck!!
